Have you ever wanted to find out what people are tweeting about in a specific location? Well now you can!
Whilst doing some research for a project that required the Google Maps API, I made this little spike to learn about how the layer drawing and interactivity features worked.
The app allows you to enter a language, search string, location and a radius and find tweets that match these criteria.
Use the red grabber to change the search location and the blue one to change the search radius. If you leave the search field blank it will return all tweets created under the dark circle.
The app was written in Angular, and has a very simple node proxy server to communicate with the Twitter API.
